Welcome! Follow this guide to connect to Z-Craft and start your adventure.

Note: Bedrock players connect via Xbox Live accounts. Java players need a valid Minecraft Java Edition account.

Java Edition Setup

Step 1: Launch the Launcher

Open your Minecraft Java Edition launcher and log in with your Microsoft account.

Step 2: Create a Server Connection

  1. Click “Multiplayer” from the main menu
  2. Click “Add Server”
  3. Enter the server details:
    • Server Name: Z-Craft (or your preferred name)
    • Server Address: survival.z-craft.xyz
    • Server Port: Leave blank (defaults to 25565)
  4. Click “Done”

Step 3: Connect

Click on the Z-Craft server in your list and select “Join Server”

Bedrock Edition Setup

Step 1: Launch the Game

Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition on your device (Windows 10/11, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, or mobile).

Step 2: Add Server

  1. Navigate to “Play”
  2. Tap “Servers” tab
  3. Tap “Add Server”
  4. Enter the server details:
    • Server Name: Z-Craft
    • Server Address: bedrock.z-craft.xyz
    • Port: 19132
  5. Tap “Save”

Step 3: Connect

Select the Z-Craft server and tap “Play”

Account Requirements

Java Edition

  • Valid Minecraft Java Edition account
  • Microsoft account for launcher authentication
  • Internet connection

Bedrock Edition

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition (free on Windows 10/11 with Java license, or purchased on other platforms)
  • Xbox Live account or Microsoft account
  • Internet connection

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

”Connection Refused”

  • Verify the server address is correct
  • Check your internet connection
  • Ensure you’re not behind a restrictive firewall

​
”Connection Timed Out”

  • The server may be temporarily offline (check Discord)
  • Try connecting again in a few minutes
  • Verify the port number is correct

”Authentication Failed” (Java)

  • Re-launch your Minecraft launcher
  • Log out and log back in with your Microsoft account
  • Clear your launcher cache

​
”Can’t Connect to Server” (Bedrock)

  • Restart your device and launcher
  • Check your Xbox Live account is in good standing
  • Verify internet connectivity
For the best Z-Craft experience, we recommend:

Graphics

  • Render Distance: 12-16 chunks (for good FPS)
  • Simulation Distance: 8 chunks
  • Graphics Mode: Fancy (if your PC supports it)
  • Smooth Lighting: On

Performance

  • Particles: All or Decreased
  • Clouds: ON
  • V-Sync: ON (reduces screen tearing)
  • FPS Limit: Unlimited or 120 FPS

Gameplay

  • Chat Settings: Filtered (for safety) or Full
  • Server Resource Packs: Accept when prompted
  • Difficulty: Normal or Hard (depends on preference)
